SEND

Applying with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)

If you have an EHCP, there are a few extra steps. Our SEND team will guide you through them.

Find out about SEND support
  1. Your school's special educational needs co-ordinator (SENCO) helps you complete a permission form, which goes to your local authority.
  2. The local authority sends us a consultation letter, your EHCP and your annual reviews.
  3. Our SEND team reviews this and invites you to an interview or observation.
  4. We tell the local authority whether we can meet your needs.
  5. Apply for your course at the same time, using our online application.
