If you're passionate about music and ready to take your skills to the next level, this one-year course is your perfect next step. Designed to get you ready for Level 3 study, you’ll dive into practical, project-based learning that mirrors how the real music industry works. Whether you're into performing, producing, songwriting, or engineering, you'll build the core skills and confidence you need in our creative and collaborative music community.

You’ll be taught by industry-savvy tutors and work in professional environments including
rehearsal rooms, live performance spaces and fully-equipped studios. You’ll also
collaborate with students from other creative courses, giving you the full industry experience.

As part of our Performing Arts Academy, you’ll gain access to exclusive workshops, industry masterclasses, and performance opportunities through our partnership with the Queen’s Theatre and other industry partners.

    The BTEC Level 2 Extended Certificate in Music Industry Skills has been designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to access and progress to Level 3 study. The qualification will suit students who have an interest in music performance and/or music production who wish to explore and extend this interest via a full-time, immersive learning experience. Many students will have identified a specific career in the creative industries that they wish to progress to (for example performer, songwriter, producer, engineer).
