No formal entry requirements, though an interest in working with children and an understanding of basic educational practices is helpful. You must be legally allowed to work in the UK and have a good standard of English, maths and IT.

Course information

  • This is a short four weeks, full-time intensive course which runs Monday - Friday.
  • Following completion of this course you will be guaranteed a job interview.
The award in childcare with employability skills is a four week programme. It will focus on comprehending child development which will benefit parents and caregivers. This also contributes towards creating a positive community impact – childcare services are crucial in supporting families. All participants will be required to complete a two day work experience placement as part of their programme. This will then lead to a guaranteed job interview.
