Entry requirements

  • GCSE maths and English Language qualifications at grade C or above (grade 4) or equivalent.
  • Appropriate accredited Level 3 qualification
  • Experience of working as a teacher within an educational setting
  • You will be expected to attend an interview and complete an initial assessment.
  • Current enhanced DBS check

    All learning outcomes have to be successfully addressed in the assessment process. All of our teaching staff are experienced professionals in the field of education. All students are allocated a personal tutor who will be your first point of communication should you have any queries or concerns. Regular 1:1 sessions will take place within the classroom where there will be the opportunity to discuss your course and progress.

    You will also be supported by a mentor within your placement who will work alongside your tutor and classroom observer.

    You will be assessed via arrange of methods including coursework, presentations, observations of practice. You will be required to complete minimum of 250 placement hours, of which at least 150 hours will be teaching practice
