At New City College, we offer flexible, career-focused courses for adults who are ready for their next step. You might want to change direction, build your confidence or gain a qualification to get on in your current job.

Our adult courses cover subjects from IT and business to construction, health and education. They’re designed to work around your life. You’ll learn from expert tutors, get hands-on experience in professional settings and have personal support from day one.

Many courses are free or funded. You can study part time, in the evening or online.

How to start a course

Starting a course with us takes four steps. We help you at each one.

  1. Find your course

    Browse courses by subject, campus and level.

  2. Apply online

    Choose your course and campus, then apply in a few minutes.

  3. Meet us

    We'll invite you to a short assessment or a chat with a tutor, so you start at the right level.

  4. Enrol and start

    Bring your ID and proof of income or benefits. We'll check if your course is free.
