Skills Bootcamps for Londoners

Funded by the Mayor of London and the Department for Education.

Skills Bootcamps are free, flexible training courses designed to help Londoners gain the skills employers need most, and progress quickly into work. Whether you’re looking to change career, upskill for your current role, or return to work, Skills Bootcamps offer a practical route to a better job.

Delivered in partnership with local employers, each course provides hands-on training, career coaching, and a guaranteed job interview upon completion.

These courses are part of the Government’s Skills for Life programme and are proudly funded by the Mayor of London and the Department for Education (DfE).

Skills Bootcamps are free for eligible Londoners. Employers can also take part to upskill their staff through a co-funded option.

To be eligible, you must:
- Be aged 19 or over
- Live in London
- Be employed, self-employed, unemployed or returning to work
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Not be in full-time education
Each Skills Bootcamp focuses on developing real, job-ready skills in priority sectors such as:
- Digital and Tech
- Green and Sustainable Skills
- Health, Social Care and Life Sciences
- Business and Professional Services
- Construction and Engineering
Depending on your chosen course, you’ll benefit from:
- Up to 16 weeks of flexible training
- Industry-recognised skills and experience
- Career coaching, CV and interview preparation
- A guaranteed job interview with an employer
