No formal entry requirements, though an interest in fashion or basic sewing skills is helpful.

Learners will develop confidence in their abilities while building essential foundation skills in sewing and garment production. This introductory adult-skills course provides the core knowledge and techniques needed to progress onto higher-level or specialist pathways. Throughout the course, learners will create work to support further study and act as a reference point for future learning.

By the end of the programme, learners will have strengthened their practical skills, gained a solid grounding in garment manufacturing, and be well-prepared to move on to progression routes suited to their goals.
