Adchara Thambithurai

Adchara Thambithurai, a former Langdon Academy student, is celebrating A* A* A in Biology, Mathematics and Chemistry. She will progress from Attlee A Level Academy to Kings College London to study Chemistry.

Adchara reflected on her last two years, saying: “The courses were challenging in many ways and really taught me numerous skills of which I am proud of. New City College helped me to push my grades up from Cs in my GCSEs to A*s in A Level, which has been a huge step up and I’ve been able to prove many people wrong. The teachers at Attlee A level Academy have been amazing and are the reason I have become more motivated, confident and determined. I can’t thank the staff enough!”
