ESOL For Young People

Course Overview

Course information:

If English is not your main language, our English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) courses are designed for you. You will develop English Language skills for life and work in the UK and make rapid progress towards the GCSE, vocational and A Level courses we also offer.

The English element of the courses will focus on speaking and listening, reading and writing. As well as improving your English, you will have the opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications in other subjects and gain work experience.

Our ESOL courses enable you to:

  • Achieve an English qualification recognised by employers and academic institutions nationally
  • Progress quickly onto GCSE, A Level, Vocational courses or Higher Education
  • Manage everyday situations and develop knowledge of life in the United Kingdom
  • Learn other subjects, such as IT, Maths (including GCSE), Employability and others such as Science.
  • Go on trips and visits to develop an understanding of British culture and sites of interest
  • Entry requirements

    Basic or limited level of English language skills
