Alfie Tobin

Alfie studied for his degree in Music Performance & Technology at NCC’s Ardleigh Green campus in Havering, finishing in 2018.

Living in Harlow, he drove to Hornchurch each day to study but says it was worth the journey because the course and the college suited him perfectly.

After completing the Level 3 Music Diploma at Harlow College, he knew he wanted to carry on studying music, but struggled to find a higher education course near where he lived.

During the three years he was here, he says the tutors gave him great support and encouragement, helping him to become a more confident performer and competent in all aspects of the technology involved in live music performances.

Alfie is currently performing in the band Kinetic with three other musicians, travelling all over the Essex area for gigs in pubs and clubs. He is also applying for roles as a Music Teacher at schools and colleges.
