Ewan Newall

Ewan Newall has praised the support he was given from his tutors and staff in our careers office, the CUBE, for helping him to overcome the self-doubt he had in whether to study French at A Level. That encouragement has resulted in an A* grade in the subject, and also an A* in History and two As in Government & Politics and the EPQ.

Former Campion School pupil Ewan is now progressing to King’s College London to study Modern Languages. He said: “Studying languages wasn’t very well supported at my school and it took both time and help from my teachers in the first year, as well as the advisors in the CUBE to make me feel like I was making the right decision.”  In the future he hopes to use his degree for a career possibly in the civil service, but he is keeping his options open.
