Sinead Fenton

Sinead Fenton studied A Levels in Geology, Philosophy and Biology, achieving grades AAB, and left Havering Sixth Form in 2009 to study Geology at the University of Leicester.

From there, the former Lister School student, who lived in Plaistow, went on to work in various roles as a geologist and was awarded a £1,000 bursary from MicroMine, the leading provider of software solutions to the mining industry.

In her role as a geologist, she travelled around the world working for a company that develops software to enable the efficient operation of mines.

She then went on to become a Communications Strategist for the Food Research Collaboration which has the mission of facilitating more effective collaboration to produce, share and use evidence-based knowledge to influence and improve UK food policy.
