Entry requirements

Five or more GCSEs at Grades 9 - 4 including:

  • Average GCSE point score of 3.5 or above
  • GCSE English Language and maths at Grade 4
  • Progression from Level 2 with Merit or Distinction, or equivalent
  • Aptitude tests may be required in certain subjects such as catering, sport and hairdressing

Course information

If you enjoy figuring out how things work and have a curious mind, a digital course could be just what you are looking for. This is a two-year qualification equivalent to three A Levels. This course is suitable for students who are interested in progressing to further study in Digital-related disciplines. Digital systems have a significant role in the world around us and play a part in almost everything we do.

This course will help you develop the skills required to work in the Digital industry through a range of practical and skills-based study methods. The course aims to enable you to develop both personally and professionally by providing opportunity to enhance enquiry and investigation skills in solving complex problems both individually and in collaborative environments.

    This course is designed to be studied over two years and fully meets entry requirements for progression to a university degree course. You will work on a number of practical assignments in units and will be assessed on a grade scale of Pass, Merit or Distinction. Some units are mandatory and some are optional.
