This Entry Level course is a vocational foundation learning qualification which is primarily designed to engage and motivate 16 to 18 year olds who are interested in learning about the maintenance of motor vehicles and the various roles that are available in the motor industry.

On this course there is a combination of mandatory and optional units which provides students with the flexibility of achieving and progressing in small manageable steps. There is a practical approach to assessment which includes many visual questioning techniques, which builds interest for the student. The majority of the course takes place in a practical environment with workshop tools and equipment.
You will also develop an understanding of motor vehicle workshop safety and will learn about the retail automotive maintenance and repair industry.
English and Maths will also be studied alongside this course.
You will be assessed through one online test and a practical demonstration of your individual abilities.
