This hands-on course deepens your understanding of how motorcycle mechanical systems work and strengthens your ability to maintain your bike safely and independently. Across nine key learning sections, you’ll develop skills in troubleshooting, servicing, basic repairs, and preparing a motorcycle for MOT requirements. Learning takes place in a fully equipped workshop, where you’ll work on real motorcycles and have the option to use your own bike to personalise your learning under expert supervision.
By the end of the course, you’ll feel more in control of your motorcycle’s upkeep, better informed about mechanical issues, and confident in handling essential maintenance tasks. This Improver course forms an important step in the Adult Skills progression pathway, preparing you for further vocational training within the motor or car industry.
