No formal entry requirements, though an interest and understanding of safeguarding in education and other related sectors is helpful. You must be legally allowed to work in the UK and have a good standard of English, maths and IT.
The aim of this qualification is to support anyone who is responsible for the safeguarding of people and for helping prevent radicalisation. It gives learners an understanding of recognising the signs of abuse, how to reduce the risk of radicalisation and the potential consequences of illegal online activity.
Mode of learning will be blended delivery which in simple terms means delivery of learning in both a classroom situation and via online sessions- face to face and/or online reflective learning either taking place at the same time independently according to schedule.
