Entry requirements
No formal entry requirements, though an interest in working with children and adults and an understanding of autism is helpful. You must be legally allowed to work in the UK and have a good standard of English, maths and IT.
Course information
- This is a short six weeks, full-time intensive course which runs Monday - Friday.
- Following completion of this course you will be guaranteed a job interview.
This qualification aims to develop understanding of autism and the principles of supporting autistic individuals - covering the person-centred approach and influence of positive communication methods, how to support positive behaviour, and how autistic individuals can be supported to live healthy and fulfilled lives.

How you are assessed
The typical structure of the course requires assessment books to be completed online within the given due dates – for most courses each assessment has a 3 week deadline period. A course can have between 2-5 assessment books. Your work will be marked by your Tutor and returned to you within 7 days. -
