Course information

This course is delivered fully online, giving you the flexibility to learn from home, at your own pace and around your other commitments. To take part, you’ll need access to a computer or laptop and a reliable internet connection.

This online course, written by Code Institute and accredited by Gateway Qualifications, builds practical skills in web development, covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and database management for creating professional web applications.

Ideal for aspiring web developers or IT professionals, it offers 24/7 access to learning materials, weekly 3-hour live sessions and tutor support. Students should commit to around 15 hours of self-study weekly for the course duration.

This is not a full-time course and does not qualify for a visa or student status discounts. Applicants must first complete Code Institute’s 5-step Coding Challenge. No prior coding experience is required.

The course covers both front-end and back-end development, preparing learners for roles such as full-stack developer, web application developer, or QA engineer, and serves as a strong pathway into the tech industry.
