Course information

Launch your career in education and childcare with the T Level in Education and Early Years. This two-year qualification is equivalent to three A Levels and carries UCAS points, giving you the knowledge, skills and professional behaviours needed to progress into skilled employment, higher apprenticeships or university study.

You will develop a strong foundation in how children and young people learn, grow and thrive, gaining insight into education and care from early years through to secondary school. Supported by expert tutors, you will combine classroom theory with practical experience, choosing to specialise in either Early Years Education or Assisting Teaching.

Throughout your studies, you will complete a substantial industry placement of at least nine weeks with an employer, or 21 weeks if you choose the Early Years Educator specialism, giving you valuable real-world experience and confidence to work in professional settings.

If you do not yet meet the entry requirements for a T Level, our team will guide you to the best route for your goals. You may be offered an AAQ course, which allows you to study at Level 3 while retaking English and/or maths. Once you have achieved the grades you need, you can progress onto a T Level and continue your journey towards a rewarding career in education.
