During the day there was a tasty selection of different foods from the Afro-Caribbean cultures and students also participated in an open mic and dance floor session to celebrate all things Black History.

Emma Wood, Senior Safeguarding and Enrichment Manager at NCC Havering Sixth Form, said: “Our students are so talented and the celebrations of words, song and dance gave them a chance to showcase just how artistic they are.

“Everyone seemed to really enjoy the fun and inclusive atmosphere. Well done to all the students involved in helping to make the day such a roaring success!”
