New City College wins Large Training Provider of the Year Award for AAT accounting courses

New City College was honoured with the prestigious title of Large Training Provider of the Year 2024 by the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) during their annual awards.

The awards evening, which recognises outstanding training providers, tutors and students across the UK, was held at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham, on March 14.

The college is extremely proud to receive this accolade, which is a testament to the collective efforts and dedication of NCC’s AAT tutors and managers, reflecting their commitment to excellence in providing outstanding training and education for students.

It was an honour for New City College to be named the winner and take the title, beating other prestigious institutions such as Kaplan Financial, The Apprentice Academy, BPP, and First Intuition, who were all short-listed in the same category.

The wide range of AAT courses provided by NCC, along with expert teaching, has been recognised with the award and reflects the college’s dedication to delivering quality education.

AAT Lecturer Domenico Falco, who is also the AAT Group IQA (Internal Quality Assurer), received the award on behalf of the college at the awards ceremony. He said: “Amidst fierce competition, New City College stands out as a beacon of excellence, having been honoured with the Large Training Provider of the Year award.

“We are deeply honoured and humbled by this accolade, which represents a significant endorsement of our commitment to the future of education. We are sincerely grateful to the AAT and our remarkable team, who continue to shed light on the path to greatness, enabling individuals to reach new heights with exceptional education and training.”

New City College has been named as Large Training Provider of the Year by the AAT at the AAT’s Training Provider Awards held in Nottingham in March 2024.

Jenna Nightingale, the AAT Lead Practitioner at Ardleigh Green Campus, in Havering, added: “Receiving this award recognises the collective effort and passion of our team, who strive beyond excellence to elevate educational standards. It energises us to sustain our dedication to learner empowerment and to continue innovating in our training and educational strategies.”
