University’s American school bus stops off on nationwide tour

A vibrant yellow American school bus made its mark at New City College during a tour of the UK.

The large bus, promoting Teesside University London, stopped off at various NCC campuses, including Ardleigh Green, Havering Sixth Form and Epping Forest.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to learn more about university life and the diverse range of courses offered at Teesside University London, which is based at the Olympic Park in Stratford.

The Teesside team offered general advice and guidance on topics such as the application process, crafting personal statements, understanding student finance, securing accommodation, and navigating various aspects of university life.

Students were asked to take a draft copy of their personal statement on the day to receive some feedback from the advisors.

In addition to informative sessions, students also had the chance to engage in various activities, including exploring the digital realm through virtual reality headsets, experimenting with Sphero programmable robots, and trying their luck at winning £100 by spinning the wheel!

Despite the official deadline for university applications through UCAS having passed, students do still have the opportunity to apply to Teesside University London. Register your interest here.
