At New City College Redbridge, we take pride in our outstanding facilities, which include the award-winning Rouge fine-dining restaurant, fully equipped hair and beauty training rooms, science labs, and our Legends boxing gym. With hands-on learning at the heart of our curriculum, students have the opportunity to gain practical skills in a realistic business environment, preparing them for the ever-changing job market.

What to expect at our Open Event

  • Course Information and Guidance: Get all your questions answered by our expert staff and discover which courses align with your career goals.
  • Campus Tours: Explore our award-winning facilities, including the Rouge fine-dining restaurant, hair and beauty training rooms, science labs, and more.
  • DP talks– The Deputy Principal talk is at 4.15pm, 5.15pm and 6pm. Please come along to one of those sessions in the Canteen for an insight to Redbridge Campus.
  • Advice and Support: Receive tailored advice on your future steps, career opportunities, and how Redbridge Campus can help you achieve your aspirations.
  • Live Demonstrations: Experience hands-on learning in action through practical demonstrations in our state-of-the-art workshops.
  • Ready to Apply: Our friendly team will be on hand to assist you with your application, making the process simple and stress-free.

Doors will open at 4.00pm when check-in will begin.

  • Deputy Principal Talks - Room: Canteen

    The Deputy Principal talk is at 4.15pm, 5.15pm and 6pm. Please come along to one of those sessions in the Canteen for an insight to Redbridge Campus.

  • Applied Science - Room: C24

  • Apprenticeships/Employability (Costa)

    Learn about pathways to your dream career at our Apprenticeships and Employability desk in Costa. Discover how to combine practical work experience with academic study and receive Information, Advice, and Guidance to kickstart your career.

     

  • Business and Accounting - Room: W30&W29

    Explore the dynamic field of Business and Accounting in W30&W29. Participate in our interactive quiz, “Lead with Confidence: Essential Skills for Tomorrow’s Business Leaders,” and gain insights into the world of finance, entrepreneurship, and management.

     

  • English and Maths (Costa)

    Meet us at Costa to discover how our English and Maths programmes can build your confidence and skills. We offer Information, Advice, and Guidance to help you achieve your educational goals.

  • Creative Industries- Room: S3 and S26

    Unleash your creativity in S3 & S26 with a podcast workshop. Get hands-on experience in creating and producing your own podcast while learning about the exciting opportunities within the creative industries.

     

  • Early Years - Room: T12

    Dive into the rewarding world of Early Years education in T12. Participate in activities like construction, artistic projects, cutting, and sticking, all designed to promote children’s physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development.

     

  • ESOL 16-18 - Room: E1

    Visit E1 to explore an introduction to ESOL with initial assessments. These sessions are designed to improve communication skills for young learners, setting you up for success in education and employment.

     

  • ESOL 19+ - Room: E2

    For adults looking to enhance their English skills, visit E2 for an introduction to ESOL. This course is tailored to improve communication skills and support you in progressing into work and everyday life.

     

  • Foundation Learning/SEND - Room: R4 & Sensory Room

    Discover the inclusive and supportive environment of Foundation Learning and SEND in R4 and our sensory room. Join in with our engaging and interactive activities, offering a unique learning experience in a fantastic setting.

     

  • Hair and Beauty - Salons (Adults Only)

    Step into our professional salons and join practical demonstrations led by our talented Hair and Beauty students. Perfect for adults looking to refine their skills or start a career in this glamorous industry.

     

  • Health & Social Care - Room: T17

    Explore the fulfilling field of Health and Social Care in T17. Participate in health checks, including measuring pulse rate and blood pressure, and explore interactive activities using S.A.R.A.H., the smart AI resource assistant for health.

     

  • Hospitality & Catering - Rouge Restaurant and Kitchens

    Immerse yourself in the world of Hospitality and Catering at our award-winning Rouge Restaurant and kitchens. Experience cooking demonstrations and learn how to prepare hot and cold beverages, gaining insight into this exciting industry.

     

  • Computing & IT - RedTech Room: E37 & E - Sports Lab Room E34

    Join us on Open Day in E37 and E34 for exciting activities! Program a robot, explore 3D animation, and level up your AI prompting skills as you dive into the world of Computing & IT.

     

  • Sport- E4 / The Box / Boxing Gym

    Experience the excitement of Sport at our Redbridge Campus. Learn about courses preparing you for a career in sport and fitness, and enjoy fantastic demonstrations from our Boxing and Football Academies happening on the hour. For Sports visit E4, Tottenham Hotspur football demonstrations at the box theatre & For Boxing please visit room S10

    This will add the course to your basket. Next, ‘checkout’ your course, and complete the application with your details.
