The Right Course For You

Your college journey begins here. We will support you from the start with information, advice and guidance

Which course is right for you?

Discover our wide range of courses, specifically designed to prepare you for your chosen career, whether you will be going straight into the workplace or to an apprenticeship or university first.

Considering a college course for September?

At New City College we hope to have a course for you, whoever you are. Some courses have age specifications due to the funding we receive (some are just for 14-16s or 16-18s and others for 19+ for example).

At NCC we break barriers and break down stereotypes: All our courses are open to learners of each gender and biological sex. The practical aspects of some courses mean that we may need to make adjustments or share a learner’s biological sex with other students or external placements and this will be discussed with you during our enrolment process.

For school leavers, we give lots of support to students and parents. We understand that not all Year 11 students will yet have finalised what they intend to study next academic year.

We appreciate, too, that the prospect of moving from a school to a college environment, whilst exciting for some, may seem daunting to others.

We hold open events through the year for you to find out more. If you have made an application to us you will be invited in for an applicant taster day and/or a programme meeting. (The programme meeting is helpful if you are selecting A Levels, so we can advise which subject combination is right for you.)

Still Undecided?

We will be open throughout the summer for anyone still unsure about what to do next. Our friendly course advisors will be able to provide you with information, advice and guidance on everything to do with courses or college life. Just give them a call on 0330 135 9000 or email info@ncclondon.ac.uk.
