This course is for students who want to explore the world of work, develop work-readiness skills and progress to The SIPs course to gain paid employment.
During the course students will:
- Explore areas of interest for future employment options
- Identify training required for possible employment options
- Be able to complete an application form
- Create a Curriculum Vitae
- Learn how to how to prepare for an interview
- Learn to locate job and training opportunities in a local area
- Plan for future career development
- Outline an action plan with goals for future career development
