New City College is dedicated to creating pathways which are inclusive and accessible for young women with talent and potential. Our partnership with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club gives female students fantastic insight and experience in professional training, and coaching.
The programme gives students an outstanding education, and gives them excellent opportunities in football and the wider sports sector. As well as having a strong focus on player development, we give equal attention to preparing students for a career away from playing; as the next generation of coaches, strength and conditioning staff, physiotherapists, nutritionists, analysts or in other sports related fields. The aim of the programme is not only to develop exceptional players and sports professionals; but to develop exceptional young people, who are well equipped to be successful on whatever path they choose in the future.
As part of the course, students on the programme will be given a range of opportunities and experiences with the club. From visiting the Tottenham Hotspur Training Centre, being involved in showcase fixtures and visiting the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, plus much more. Many previous students have been successful in gaining work placements and paid careers within the club in various departments within Tottenham Hotspur. The programme has provided multiple pathways for its participants including player, education and employment paths.
You will be trained by coaches from Tottenham Hotspur, and all teaching will be delivered by staff from New City College. You will receive the very highest standards of coaching, teaching and support, which will greatly enhance your employability and all round development.
