Clothesmaking: Beginner or equivalent knowledge is recommended.

This intermediate clothemaking course builds on the Adult Skills Foundation programme, supporting learners to continue developing their technical abilities and progress towards more advanced pathways. The course is designed to strengthen your confidence, refine core garment-construction skills, and expand your understanding of specialist sewing techniques.

You will gain practical experience using both commercial and industrial sewing machinery and further enhance your precision in the cutting process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency as your skills advance. This course acts as the next step in your progression, preparing you for higher-level study or more specialist areas within garment production.
