Entry requirements

To begin this course, you will need: • GCSE English Language at grade 3 or Functional Skills English at Level 1 • GCSE Mathematics at grade 3 or Functional Skills Mathematics at Level 1

Course information

This practical Level 2 course introduces the essential skills and knowledge used in fabrication and welding. You will develop hands on experience in welding, sheet metal work, engineering drawing and workshop calculations. The course is suitable for school leavers, adults retraining for employment and those already working in the sector who want to update their skills.
