Level 3 or higher in Media Production (or related creative practice qualifications), or equivalent experience. You must be aged 19 or over, live in London, have the right to work in the UK, and not be in full-time education.
Break into the screen industry with confidence. This practical, employer-led Bootcamp is designed for adults who have completed previous technical training in TV or Film Production (from Level 3 to graduate level) but have found it difficult to secure that crucial first role.
During this 10 week course, experience flexible, hands-on learning in professional studios. You will refresh your skills, expand your network and build a standout showreel to help you make the leap into paid work.
Delivered as part of the Skills Bootcamps for Londoners and the Government's Skills for Life programme, this free course is funded by the Mayor of London and the Department for Education (DfE). You will receive expert tuition, industry mentoring, career coaching, and guaranteed interviews with employers actively recruiting new talent.

Assessment is continuous and practical, combining hands-on tasks and workshops with tailored feedback from industry mentors and trainers. You will complete a final showreel or portfolio piece, work towards relevant licences to practise (e.g. Health and Safety and basic drone operation), and take part in mock interviews and structured networking activities.
If available, include a basic portfolio or examples of previous work. We value enthusiasm, commitment, and a willingness to learn and collaborate. Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for both studio and on location work.
Successful completion of this course will lead to a guaranteed employer interview. If self-employed, you can leverage the training to secure new opportunities. You’ll be prepared for entry-level roles such as runner, production assistant or location marshal; gain IMDb credits and build a professional network; access freelance work via crew databases; and progress to further training or employment with local studios and production companies.
