Travel students offered cabin crew jobs after impressing Ryanair

Students on Tourism and Aviation courses at New City College Epping Forest impressed representatives from Ryanair so much when they visited the campus – they were offered jobs on the spot!

Eight students were successful in gaining Cabin Crew roles with the airline giant following interviews and assessments – with 12 other first year students being recommended for future employment once they complete their studies and reach the age of 18.

Ryanair’s UK Recruitment Manager, Lauren Dixon, along with her colleague, was full of praise for the knowledge and skills the Tourism students demonstrated during her visit and said they were just the type of employees the company was looking for.

The interviews were tough but each of the students spoke confidently about what they had learnt on the course at New City College and how they had a real passion for the travel industry.

The 8 students have already started their training as the summer travel season gets into full swing.

Student Ella Price said she was over the moon to be offered her dream job as Air Cabin Crew for Ryanair and she can’t wait to get started.

Tourism and Aviation Lecturer Simone Butler said: “Our students conducted themselves brilliantly. We are so proud of them all for gaining well deserved employment and for impressing the Ryanair recruitment managers so much that they made their decisions instantly.

“We look forward to next year when more of our students will be leaving the course with a guaranteed job to go to.”

It’s not too late to apply for our Tourism and Aviation courses today!
