Age 16-18
Billy Irving studied BTEC Performing Arts (Acting) and achieved a Distinction* before leaving Havering Sixth Form College in 2013.
The former Gaynes School student, from Upminster, then went to Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in North London.
He won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Newcomer in 2015 – a prestigious award for young actors – and has appeared in a BBC Radio stage play and an Edinburgh Fringe Show among many other performances.
He performed in the 2017-2019 National Theatre touring production of War Horse, playing The Goose/Johann Schnabelh.
