Nathan studied Performing Arts and has ambitions to be an actor. He has taken the first steps to success by gaining a place at the LMA, a performance university with sites in Liverpool and London and which is co-owned by pop star Robbie Williams!
Tell us about your education journey – what and where did you study before coming to NCC?
I studied GCSEs at Davenant Foundation School, including GCSE Drama, where I performed in a school musical and this inspired me to take the Performing Arts course at Epping Forest campus so that I could take acting further and make a career out of it. I have enjoyed acting since I was young and was in the production of Oliver at Lopping Hall some years ago.
What are your plans for next steps?
To study and pursue my career in Acting and Performance at LMA University (The Liverpool Media Academy, which has locations in London and Liverpool and is co-owned by Robbie Williams).
What’s your ambition in life?
To be a Christian actor who can create powerful and emotional scenes.
What is the most interesting thing you’ve learned on your course?
To give my full focus and energy to my course in order to achieve the best results.
How did New City College help you achieve?
My teacher helped me to stay engaged in the work and to work harder in my performances.
What values are most important to you?
Being on time, hard-working, and being easy to work with.
What is the biggest change you wish to see in the world?
I wish to see more kindness and positivity.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
Give your all to achieve your dreams.
If you could go back in time, what would you tell your 15-year-old self?
The mistakes you have made do not define you. You can be yourself and make change for yourself.
What makes you feel positive?
Being Christian.

Jesus.

Performing Arts teacher Tania Edwards.
What is the best thing about New City College?
The teachers are always supportive and ready to help with any problems or issues.
If you had three wishes, what would they be?
To be a successful actor.
To be in a star wars movie.
