Entry requirements

This study programme requires a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grades 3 or above, including English and Maths.
Grade 3 English Language GCSE or L1 Functional Skill English, Grade 3 Maths GCSE or L1 Functional Skill Maths

Course information

On the course you will gain a strong understanding of all aspects of professional food preparation, cooking and restaurant service. From day one you will be treated and expected to act like a professional chef/ food service operative. It's all about building your employability skills, so we guarantee your training environment will be relevant, professional and vibrant to provide you with all the tools you need to make it in this wonderful industry. You will have the opportunity to have paid work in our award winning restaurant OKN1 or Rouge and work with our professional chefs on exciting outside catering events.
