Course Overview

Entry requirements

Three or more GCSEs at Grade 2 including:

  • GCSE English Language and maths at Grade 2 (or equivalent)
  • Successful completion of Entry 3, and appropriate recommendation report

Course information

If you love cars and are considering working in the motor vehicle accident repair industry, this course will give you those specialist skills required to either progress to the Level 2 Diploma or on to employment.

The course includes:

  • spray painting techniques
  • minor damage repair
  • M.E.T. stripping and refitting
  • panel preparation
  • welding
  • panel fabrication
  • How you are assessed

    Evidence of competence is gathered and compiled by the you, the student, throughout the academic year. Continuous observation is made by the tutor. Tutor marked workbooks will be used to provide evidence of practical workshop assessments and online mu
