Introduction to Generative AI

Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

Embark on a journey into the fascinating world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) with our beginner course. This comprehensive program spans six weeks, providing you with a solid foundation and hands-on experience in the fundamentals of AI, ML, and Python.

The field of AI and ML is dynamic and rapidly evolving, and the demand for skilled professionals continues to grow. Your proficiency in generative AI, deep learning, NLP, and cloud-based ML will position you for exciting opportunities in a variety of industries, including technology, healthcare, finance, and more.

This is part 1 of the Generative AI course, which covers the foundational knowledge, with a significant emphasis on practical, hands-on experience using popular cloud platforms. This structure is beneficial for learners and professionals looking to specialise in modern AI and ML technologies and applications.

    This course is FREE if you meet any of the following criteria:

    • Live in the Greater London Authority and earn less than £25,300.60 per year
    • Live in the Greater London Authority and are unemployed and in receipt of benefits

    All adult students pay a £30 college membership fee.

    If you live in Greater London and earn more than £25,300.60, the maximum fee is £362 + college membership fee.

    If you live outside Greater London, the maximum fee is £810 + college membership fee.

What can I do next?

This course will allow you to progress to the Advanced AI course or other qualifications including a Level 4/5 Diploma in Software Development or a Software Development technician Apprenticeship Standard.

Following successful completion of part 1 of this course, you can progress onto part 2. To secure employment in the sector, it is advisable to complete part 2 of the course.
