Entry requirements

All learners will be expected to have a Level 1 English qualification and be confident using a computer. Previous knowledge of the web and cyber security is desirable, however, no prior knowledge of coding is necessary.


In this course you will learn about cybercrime and the risks and effects it has on individuals and organisations. You will understand routine protective methods used to maintain cybersecurity including the principles of vulnerability and penetration testing and user access control.

    This qualification is achieved with a combination of practical assignments and exams.
