Course information

The City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in ICT Systems Support is designed for learners who want to build practical skills for entry level ICT support roles. You will develop confidence in supporting users, setting up and maintaining ICT equipment, and keeping systems running smoothly.

The course covers core areas such as customer support, networking, security awareness, installing and configuring hardware and software, and using structured approaches to troubleshooting. You will also build good practice skills for working safely, documenting work clearly, and following procedures in a professional environment. Assessment methods vary by unit and may include assignments, online multiple choice tests for some units, vendor certification, and portfolio evidence. Grading is pass or fail.
