Entry requirements

You will need to be working in Human Resources in order to study this course.

Information

You will study 3 core units, 3 specialist units and the choice of 1 optional unit.

The units are:
  • Organisational performance and culture in practice
  • Evidence-based practice
  • Professional behaviours and valuing people
  • Employment relationship management
  • Talent management and workforce planning
  • Reward for performance and contribution
  • Specialist employment law

This qualification is run on one evening a week (Thursday) for 18 months. It is perfect for you if you enjoy developing and managing people. You’ll expand your knowledge of HR with a combination of core units and specialist areas – helping you focus on what matters most to you.

  • Assessment Criteria

    All units are completed by coursework, this may be in the form of reports, presentations and data research. Evidence will be based on your own workplace. We recommmended that you are working within HRM to complete this qualification.

What Can This Course Lead To

On completion of your Level 5 qualification, you will be awarded CIPD Associate Membership, with progression options to continue onto the Level 7 programme.
