Important information for parents and students to keep you on track.
It’s important for you to attend all of your lessons and exams to make sure you keep up with your work and get all the support you need to succeed. Don’t forget your progression is dependent on good attendance.
Students with 100% attendance are put into a prize draw for their campus and the winners are rewarded with vouchers.

To report an absence or lateness, please report this on Proportal or Parent Portal, this can be done under notified absence. If you are unable to do this, you may send an email to your tutor. Do not phone us to report absence or lateness.
Covid Absence Guidance
Covid-related sickness absence should be now be reported to the college in the same way as any other sickness absence. You should report your absence through your New City College ProPortal account. There is a ‘notify absence’ tab in the menu under ‘change requests’. Or see ‘Reporting Student Absence’ on our contacts page, here.
National guidance about Covid has been updated. There is no longer a legal requirement to test without symptoms or to isolate.
If you are unwell with Covid symptoms you should not attend college until you are feeling better, as would be the case with other illnesses.
Please make sure you check your ProPortal account for important information about your course. If you have any problems with your account please refer to these guidance notes or email firstname.lastname@example.org. You can access your ProPortal account through the MyNCC app.
Parents and students can use the MyNCC App to monitor progress, report and track attendance and more. This app is available to download the app from Google Play Store or Apple Store. Or you can access via your browser here: MyNCC website
Within MyNCC you will also find a link to ProPortal. This system is used to report absence and view progress reports.
From your MyNCC account you can:
