Josh Harrison-Yellop studied at Havering Sixth Form College, taking A Level Dance and BTEC Extended Diploma in Performing Arts.
He went on to tour the UK with the world-renowned Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance show.
He achieved Triple Distinction in his BTEC and grade B in Dance and progressed to study at the Laine Theatre Arts vocational school after leaving college in 2011.
On completion of three years at Laine he then attended several auditions for dance roles and performed in various local shows. He was spotted by one of the Dance Captains at the Michael Flatley Academy in Barking, which he joined for fun and fitness, and has not looked back since.
He has starred in Moulin Rouge and Cabaret and in TV shows such as The British Airways Killer (ITV), Silent Witness (BBC1), It Takes Two (Strictly Come Dancing), Sunday Brunch (Channel 4) and Murder in Successville (BBC3).
In December 2025 and January 2026 he played the leading role of Peter Pan in the Panto, The New Adventures of Peter Pan, which ran at the Thameside Theatre, Grays.
