This advanced practical and academic course is for people who wish to pursue a career in health sciences and related professions.
A career in healthcare is rewarding and filled with amazing opportunities to progress. It's also one of the UKs most varied, fastest growing and largest employment sectors.
Study units include:
- human lifespan development
- working in health and social care
- anatomy and physiology for health and social care
- enquires into current research in health and social care
- work experience in health and social care
- promoting public health
The course consists of 13 units of which 4 units are externally assessed (2 exams in year 1 and 2 exams in year 2). This qualification is equivalent to 3 x A Levels.
