Entry requirements
No formal entry requirements, you will need to have a short interview with the tutor. An understanding of engineering / technical drawing would be helpful.
Information
The course is delivered over one evening each week for 35 weeks and is intended as a progression from the 2D level 3. Alternatively the course would be suitable for students with prior knowledge of Auto CAD, maybe using it at work. The software you will use is Auto CAD, you will learn to use all the commands needed to produce complex 3D models, you will produce both surface models and solid models. You will learn how to produce a set of orthographic views and isometric views from a solid model. This course is a very good introduction to 3D modelling.
