Entry requirements

Three or more GCSEs at Grade 2 including:

  • GCSE English Language and maths at Grade 2 (or equivalent)
  • Successful completion of Entry 3, and appropriate recommendation report

Course information

Do you want to be a chef, or to pursue a career in the hospitality sector? This course is a perfect introduction to hospitality and catering. Students will be interviewed before the course begins to discuss their career goals and aspirations, which will enable our team to create a personalised learning journey. On the course, students will gain a working understanding of all aspects of basic food preparation, cooking and restaurant service. It is all about building employability skills, so we guarantee a training environment that will be relevant, professional and vibrant to provide all the tools needed to make it in this wonderful industry.

You will have the opportunity to have paid work in our award winning restaurant OKN1 or Rouge and work with our professional chefs on exciting outside catering events.
